MEMBER BENEFITS

Membership to the NYNJFFF&BA, benefits you and your company by providing the necessary information to keep you well-informed; by giving you a voice in policy and regulatory decision making; by protecting and advocating the best interests of our group as a whole, and by offering a forum to exchange ideas, establish business contacts, and forge relationships that will propel your business successfully into the future.

Why Become A Member?

The NY/NJ Foreign Freight Forwarders & Brokers Association, Inc. has served the logistics industry in a multitude of important ways since its inception in 1917. While the issues and concerns constantly change course, the need for strength in unity in our industry does not. Become a member and have your voice heard.

Today, we are faced with ever-changing technical requirements, in addition to government-imposed rules, regulations, and vital security initiatives that impact our ability to do business. As barriers to world trade continue to come down, it is only those companies that stay alert to new developments and keep well informed of changes in our fast-paced, competitive business, who will be poised to take advantage of the opportunities that lie ahead.

Our members have access to resources through the Association’s network of reliable communication channels, opportunities to meet face to face with their peers and legal counsel and attend career developing educational events.

Networking

The NYNJFFF&BA holds five-member luncheons annually (included with your dues) that allow you to connect with businesses and resources. The luncheons are informative “work-through-lunch” format with presentations and reporting on current and ongoing issues related to the logistics industry by board members and legal counsel to the association. Additional networking opportunities are available through Sponsorship and attendance to our Annual Dinner and Cruise.

Education

The NYNJFFF&BA hosts numerous educational seminars and webinars throughout the year providing our members the opportunity to expand their professionalism and knowledge. The association’s affiliated membership to the NCBFAA / National Educational Institute gives members additional ways to earn CCS and CES credits.

Legal Representation

Allows your voice to be heard on a national level through attendance at the National Association’s Government Affairs Conference and separate meetings with national, state and local government officials.

Committees
